Supporting mental health inclusive choirs!

We’re developing and researching an evidence-based practice and resources for community singing leaders and people with diverse mental health experiences

We are working to support mental health inclusive choirs which promote both wellbeing and the best group singing experiences "side-by-side".

This project will research the current experiences, needs and practice in the community through surveys, consultations and an action research programme.

Our findings are shared through our open-source practical toolkit for & by community group singing facilitators.

We had our online launch Tuesday 24 November 2020!

We were delighted to host a webinar which was open to all interested in Mental Health inclusive choirs as part of the International Centre for Community Music (ICCM) Conversations with York St John University.

We will be having another webinar in June to report our findings. The link to the video is available here! Thank you to everyone who joined.
